DESIGNING ARCADE COMPUTER GAME GRAPHICS

This title focuses on how to create high-quality 2D
graphic images and animations for
arcade-based games, educational programs, and
multimedia applications. A secondary goal
of the title is to provide insight into basic
computer game design and implementation from
the perspective of a graphic artist. The author
highlights topics ranging from creating high
quality sprites, backgrounds and bonus objects, to
dealing with the restrictions imposed by
different hardware platforms.
